Live Empowered is always looking for volunteers to help make a difference in the lives of our clients.  We are looking for four different kinds of volunteers.
Event Volunteers.  These are individuals who help out at events put on by Live Empowered and our clients, or community-based events our clients attend.  Volunteers may only be interested in a single event, or multiple events.
Trained Volunteers.  These are individuals who volunteer to come long-term to the Brymont Center, Live Empowered’s day program.  Volunteers will be trained on how to interact more fully with our clients.
Buddies.  These are individuals who volunteer at the Brymont Center and become a buddy with one or two clients, and interact with a limited number of clients, but on a deeper level.
Guest Presenters.  These are individuals or small groups who present talent or information to our clients in a group setting.  Examples could include magicians, dancers, musicians, falconers, or any other number of skills.

All of our clients have Dreams.  Check out our DNA page occasionally and see what our clients are trying to achieve or have already accomplished.  You may have a skill or item you could volunteer or donate to help them progress.  Or you may know someone who has the ability and willingness to help.

Donations help us get the supplies our center and our clients need to thrive. Items that are frequently needed and helpful are:

• Hand sanitizer
• Disposable Gloves
• Games
• Books
• Outdoor games
• Plastic Shopping Bags
• Paper goods
• Sunscreen
• Sun Hats
• Clothes: Stretchy pants, Basketball Shorts, plain T-shirts
• Adult Strollers

We are constantly on the lookout for talented, caring individuals who would enjoy working with Special Needs Adults and helping them build their dreams.
